Choose to explore, debate and discuss today’s cutting edge issues with our world-class researchers in either Business Studies, Biological Science or Literature, Film and Theatre Studies. You’ll attend lectures, workshops or lab sessions, present your ideas, meet interesting, like-minded people and have the summer of a lifetime whilst you’re doing it.

At the end of it, you’ll have a university level piece of work, a new network of contacts and the confidence to go out and bag the future of your dreams!

Making the right choices for the future can be tough. Our University Discovery Day will help you find out first-hand what university life is like, plus top tips to ace your exams for a successful future.

Students and parents will have the chance to explore a university campus, look around student accommodation and learn about revision methods and resilience techniques.

For parents and carers

You’ll pick up practical tips to help your child revise, find out about their future options and get to discuss the financial support available at university.

The important bits

  • This event is for students aged 14+ and up to two accompanying adults
  • Each student must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+
  • This event is completely free, we'll provide lunch
  • We'll reimburse reasonable travel costs, a form will be emailed to you before the event

France An extremely gifted player from Passmores Academy who is working at national standard is attending a Netball residential week in France. She leads and coaches her team and would not have been able to attend were it not for Make Happen Funding.
