NCOP students are able to access progression events. 1:1 support, interactive workshops and Careers Fairs within your college as well as exciting trips and activities happening across Essex.

You are also able to access the Future Ready Student Bursary to help you to access any activity that will support your progression to higher eduction.

We want to help students attend events and activites to support you to discover more about what higher education can offer. To be eligible for the bursary, you must be currently studying a Level 2 or Level 3 course as well as be classed as an NCOP student. Below are some examples of opportunities that we could fund; it is not an exhaustive list of opportunities but it is intended to give you an idea of the types of opportunities.

• Travel expenses associated with attending university open days
• Travel expenses associated with HE related interviews
• UCAS Applications
• Expenses associated iwth study experiences to enhance university applications e.g. summer schools, conferences, course experiences

We also understand that it isimportant that your family be involved too. Therefore, we are able to cover travel costs for you and up to two guests, where appropriate.
